Armando Gonzalez holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the United States Naval Academy and a bachelor’s in physician assistant studies from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He then graduated from the University of Nebraska with a master’s in physician assistant studies degree.
After working for two years in family practices, he specialized in orthopedic surgery. In 2003, he obtained certification as a clinical densitometrist specializing in osteoporosis. Armando has been practicing as a physician assistant since 1984 and has been with EmergeOrtho since 1996.
Armando is a pain management physician assistant, and he treats and cares for a wide range of patients with acute and chronic pain . He has extensive experience in following patients before and after spine surgery, as well as helping those with back and neck pain, degenerative disc disease, stenosis, MIS spine surgery, and spinal fusion.
Armando is currently the physician assistant to Dr. Francis Pecoraro.
