Carson Finney is a nationally certified physician assistant and has worked at EmergeOrtho since 2002. He earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training/sports medicine at Lenoir-Rhyne College in 1999. After graduation he worked as an intern athletic trainer at the University of the South for 1 year. He then enrolled in the University of Florida PA program.
Carson has a specific interest in sports medicine, however, his scope of practice also encompasses general orthopedics. He routinely sees a full clinic daily and practices at our Morganton office. During surgery, he participates as first surgical assistant and completes daily rounds on patients in the hospital.
