Beginning October 1, 2020, Cape Fear Sports Medicine will become part of EmergeOrtho, bringing together two of the region’s most respected names in orthopedic medicine.

A board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist with more than 24 years of practice in the region, Dr. Boyd is especially experienced in treating injuries and conditions of the elbow, knee and lower limb. A graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine, he completed his residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, and his fellowship at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
Dr. Boyd is continuing to see his established patients and welcome new ones in his current office at 6019 Oleander Drive, Suite 200. Patients can continue to call the same number for appointments and treatment.
