Even before the first procedure is scheduled and the doors are opened, Brunswick Surgery Center’s new outpatient surgery center administrator has been hard at work.
An accomplished clinical and operational executive nursing leader with more than 30 years of experience, Anna M. Weaver, MSN, RN, CNOR, is already playing a vital role as we prepare to open the first outpatient surgery center dedicated to orthopedics in southeastern North Carolina.
Anna earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from East Carolina University. She has extensive experience across a variety of medical specialties, including many surgical areas. She joins us from Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, N.C.
Stephen L. DeBiasi, chief executive officer of EmergeOrtho, said Anna brings an impressive track record of achieving significant and sustainable administrative improvements, as well as a passion for medical operations to her position.
