EmergeOrtho (formerly Carolina Orthopedic Specialists) would like to welcome Dr. William B. Bell to our team. Dr. William Bell is a board eligible Orthopedic surgeon joining EmergeOrtho’s team of orthopedic doctors in Burke County.
In 2008, Dr. Bell received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Bell’s professional training in orthopedic surgery includes the successful completion of an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2013.
In July 2014, Dr. Bell completed a one-year fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He worked for the past year at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center specializing in hand and wrist surgery.
Dr. Bell specializes in the hand, wrist, and elbow. He will see patients in both Morganton and Valdese.
